"The Philosophy
Markus Seidl is the managing director of Mues Products & Moulds GmbH, which has produced injection moulds and plastic components for all branches of the industry for 40 years. Through its many years of experience in the injection moulding industry, Mues Products & Moulds naturally has an outstanding knowledge of all kinds of plastic. It requires a lot of technical knowledge to process high-quality materials.
In 2007, Markus Seidl decided to get a dog. As every dog owner, he pays exacting attention to the health of his four-legged friend. His hound is very lively and likes to be actively engaged. Every time that Markus Seidl bought a new toy for his beloved, he regretted it after a short while. Because it either broke quickly or his dog did not want to play with it.
In 2008, ÖKO-TEST published a report, in which commodities for animals were investigated for their contents. The negative results are known and, also, understandable, as 80% of toys are imports from Asia! After the report was published, the idea developed:

"The Production
In comparison with mass commodities, Healthy FLY is made from a food-safe TPE material, which contains raw ingredients that have been listed and approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and the BfR (Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung - Federal Institute for Risk Assessment).
TPE is the abbreviation for thermoplastic elastomers, which are a special plastic granulate. The conventional flexible frisbee discs are produced from a natural rubber; this rubber is mixed with sulphur, so that the industry can process it further. For this reason, the smell of many products made of rubber takes some getting used to.
There are fundamental differences between these ingredients and their processing methods. The TPE granulate is heated to over 200°C and then sprayed into a cooled injection mould where it freezes. Rubber, on the other hand, is warmed to approx. 80°C and sprayed into a hot form, in which it hardens (vulcanises). The advantage of TPE is that it can be reused as many times as you want. For example, defective parts are finely ground so that they form granulate again. The obtained regenerated rubber still has the same properties, so it can be reheated and reprocessed. The granulate ingredients do cost a lot more than raw rubber; however, it is not possible to recycle rubber.

Review
Ich am very happy with the Healthy Toys products. I especially like about the Healthy Toys that they are completely made out of harmless contents and thus can be safely given to dogs to chew on and play with. This security is unfortunately not given with every dog toy. It is also great that the toys are multilaterally usable; thus the Healthy Bone can be used to chew on and play with, plus treats can be placed onto the toy, the Healthy Flys can be used as frisbee toys, plus turned around can be used as a portable bowl, and the Healthy Balls can be used in connection with the Healthy Strings in order to make a complete new toy.
I am very satisfied with the Healthy toys and Rocky liked them as well. Rocky's favourite toy was the Healthy Bone since treats can be placed onto it.
