"Dot.Dog is a website created in September 2012 by designer Jessica Barbier-Delvallée.
In the beginning there was Luna, a marvellous Bulldog, her muse.
Jessica searched high and low for a quality harness for her dog. It was difficult to find an item adapted to the shape of a bulldog. Not to mention how annoying it was to have to settle for a nylon leash made in China or a collar made from low-quality leather.
So, Jessica began taking lessons with artisanal harness-makers, hoping to be able to create the dream harness with her own hands. From this, the crazy adventure, that is Dot.Dog, was born!
Unique, made-to-measure creations designed specifically for pets. A skilled and inspired designer, Jessica imagines unique models and limited editions for our little furrballs. She will also make creations for any other animal in search of fantasy and unique pieces (cat, parrot, etc.)!
Dot.Dog produces quality lines that exclusively use the noblest materials, modernism of design and good-taste finishes.

Bringing the alliances of ecology, durable development and respect for the environment to the animal world. More than just an ethic, this designer has made a lifestyle out of it:

The Eco-Friendly Range seeks to provide true comfort of living for animals. An ethic that is close to nature such as vegetable tanned leather, hemp cord with no colourings, borders in non-treated wool, collected and recycled mats.
Development Project
In the near future, Jessica hopes to develop her workshop-boutique to employ new recruits to whom she can pass on her artisanal knowledge and skills. She hopes this will allow her to satisfy an international client-base who exclusively seek unique, customised creations."

The Sparrow - Harness
Description of the Dot.Dog Sparrow Harness: "Custom fitted harness leather made and hand crafted, with the system 'Easy' which provides an upholding comfort.
'The Sparrow' is a made-to-measure creation.
The Harness 'Easy' is custom fitted and hand crafted which porvides upholding comfort for your animal.
Its specifics is to swathe the chest of your domestic animal, so it is not strangled.
The tie 'easy' facilitates the dressing of the animal, it is in brass for a big solidity.

Top: full grain leather with a multitude of colors available.
Interior: smooth black leather with a vegetal treatment for environmental eco-friendliness and the respect of the beloved animal.
Sides: tinted and finished high quality leather, sanded and smoothed by hand, to smooth out the sidings for the well being of your animal.
Sewing: point sellier by hand with linen yarn, for a long lasting experience.
Top: full grain leather with a multitude of colors available.

Review: I really like the leather harness made by Dot.Dog. It is a slightly bit big around Rocky's arms but it still fits quite nicely.
I think it is very impressive that this harness has been completely hand-made and you can see the love and care in the details of this harness. I also think that the colour suits Rocky very well and I especially like that the harness is adjustable. As the harness is made out of leather it has a very strong leather smell which I absolutely love!
Rocky seemed quite alright with the harness as well.
Delivery was also very quick considering it was made in France.
So overall, I think the products Jessica Barbier-Delvallée makes by hand are very nice, of high quality and definitely unique.
