Kong Stuff'n Products

An introduction about these products can be found here.

Kong Stuff'n Snack

Composition: Meat and animal derivatives (35% chicken liver), Cereals, Oils and fats.

Analytical Constituents: Crude protein 24%, crude fat 9%, crude fibre 5%, moisture 10%, crude ash 5%.

Review: I like that they fit exactly in the opening of the small Kong, thus making it a bit more difficult for Rocky to get to the tasty stuffing. However, I am a bit unhappy about the cereal content and would prefer a higher meat content. But they serve their purpose well and Rocky seems to like them.

Kong Stuff'n Easy Treat

Ingredients: Milk, Water, Soybean Iil, Whey, Modified Corn Starch, Soidum Phosphate, Maltodextrin, Dextrose, Dried Chicken Liver, Salt, Lactic Acid, Natural Flavor, Sorbic Acid (as a preservative), Cheese Cultures, Rennet. No Trans Fatty Acids.

Guaranteed Analysis: Crude protein (min) 4%, crude fat (min) 20%, crude fibre (max) 1%, moisture (max) 54%)%, ash (max) 5%.

Review: I am not too sure about the ingredients as there are a some ingredients in there that I have no idea about what they are. However, Rocky likes it and I think it's great to put a bit of it into the end of the Kong.

How to stuff a Kong

There are actual instructions out there that describe how to fill a Kong (find more information about the Kong here) using the Kong stuff'n Snack and Easy Treat.

Filling the Kong in Layers:

I really like the illustration and it gives an idea about how to stuff a Kong. I think the Kong specific stuffings/fillings are however not a necessity and you can even fill the Kong with whatever layers you wish.

How did Rocky like the Kong Stuffings? Rocky loves it! He needed about 30 minutes to finish it and the Kong Stuff'n Snack made it a bit harder in the beginning to get to the actual filling.
