"The Thundershirt can be used for:
Fear of Thunder, Separation Anxiety, Barking Problems, Any Noise Anxiety, Car or Travel Anxiety, Crate Anxiety, Reactivity, General Fearfulness, Excitability, Leash Pulling, General Training Tool

How does it work?
With its patent-pending design, the Thundershirt is a pressure wrap that applies a gentle, constant pressure to a dog’s torso; pressure has a calming effect on the nervous system.

Any training required?
None. Just put the Thundershirt on your dog and you should see results with the very first use for most dogs; some may require two to three usages to see results.

Is it washable?
Most certainly. Wash it like you would an ordinary piece of clothing and hang it out to dry.

Hot weather, overheating?
Don’t panic! The Thundershirt is made from a thin, breathable fabric and dogs keep themselves cool through their mouths and paws. Should overheating be a concern, take note of whether your dog is panting heavily or if their tongue is hanging out. If so then remove the Thundershirt.

How do you put it on?

Simple. Just wrap it around the dogs torso and secure in place using the Velcro straps around the belly and neck. It should be snug, but allow enough space to fit two fingers in behind the wrap."

The Thundershirt is available in 7 sizes; XXS (Chest size 9 - 13.5"), XS (Chest size 13 - 18"), S (Chest size 16 - 23"), M (Chest size 18 - 26"), L (Chest size 24 - 32"), XL (Chest size 31 - 40"), and XXL (Chest size 38 - 50").

Rocky wearing his Thundershirt in size XS:

Review: After hearing a lot about the Thundershirt I was very interested about its mode of action. Rocky was not too happy in the beginning about having to wear a shirt, but quickly got used to it. I was able to test the Thundershirt in a situation which was quite stressful for Rocky as Rocky and me were flying from London/ UK to Düsseldorf/ Germany. Even though Rocky's stress symptoms have not gone away 100% the Thundershirt nevertheless had some positive effects. Rocky usually pants quite a lot while flying and normally shivers at the same time. With the Thundershirt on he was still panting, but was all round a lot more relaxed and he was not shivering at all.
I am very surprised how well the Thundershirt has helped in the end. Although Rocky was still panting, he was all round a lot more relaxed which was really great. Furthermore, I like that the Thundershirt is made out of thin fabric so that Rocky did not get too warm while wearing it.
So in situations in which dogs are stressed I can advice everyone to try out the Thundershirt if nothing else worked.
