Fings For Fido Box

Fings For Fido Box

We have received our first Fings For Fido box and were very excited!

About Fings For Fido

Who is Fings For Fido? "FingsForFido is a London based subscription company serving our dog owners and of course most importantly us their four-legged friends every month. FingsForFido is the brainchild of Red, Dexter, Lola and Mitzi, canines who just about had enough of not getting what they actually wanted from their owners."

The Fings For Fido Box can be bought as a one-off or you can join a monthly subscription in order to receive a new Fings For Fido Box every month.
There are 2 different types of boxes available; the Regular Box and the Big Box.
The Regular Box costs £16.99 a month and contains between 4 - 6 goodies which may include hygiene or grooming products, gadgets, handmade biscuits, treats, toys, training aids and more.
The Big Box costs £23.99 a month and contains between 6 - 8 goodies which may include: hygiene, grooming, gadgets, handmade biscuits, treats, training aids, toys and more.
The costs of the content of both boxes will exceed the costs that you will pay.

How does it work? You can choose whether you would like to receive the Regular or Big Box and whether it is going to be a one-off or monthly subscription. You can also send Boxes as a gift! Once you have ordered your box or signed up for a subscription, you will just have to sit and wait for it to come. It's as easy as that!
The first boxes are usually send off at the 15th of each month and if you have ordered a box by the 10th of the month you will receive it the same month (otherwise you will receive it the next month). Even though Fings For Fido is based in the UK they also deliver their boxes to the rest of Europe. Delivery can take between 2 and 8 days (we have received our box within 3 days).

The exciting part about the Fings For Fido box is that you won't ever know what's inside until you have recieved it! This makes it very interesting for you and your dog.

Our Fings For Fido Box

This is the box that we have received. It contained a Dogs Today magazine, Fish4Dogs Sea Jerky, Little Barker Bakery Dog Biscuits, an Ancol Dog Lips Toy, a Pik'N'Mix Fetch Toy, and an Ancol Treat Bone.

I really like that the Fings For Fido Team takes the time to write a personal note to everyone.

Dogs Today magazine

Review: This magazine comes in monthly editions and is all about dogs. I never had a dog magazine before and was pleasantly surprised how much information is in them.

Fish4 Dogs Sea Jerky

Ingredients: 100% Fish Skins (nothing else).

Nutritional Analysis: Protein (85%), Ash (12%), Oil (2.4%), Fibre (0.6%), Omega 3 (0.35%).

Review: I think the Fish4Dogs Sea Jerky are great. They are a 100% natural and are a lot healthier than many other treats. They are also so called "Dental Treats" as they are cleaning the dogs teeth while chewing and contain a lot of healthy Omega 3.
Rocky is very picky about fish products and thus he at first didn't like them. He eventually started chewing them a bit but it's not going to be his favourite treat.

Little Barker Bakery Dog Biscuits "Pawmesan"

Ingredients: Rye flour, Oats, Cheddar cheese, Parmesan, Egg, Sunflower oil.
May contain traces of nuts.

Review: I think it's great that these dog treats are handmade! They also smell delicious which is quite rare for dog biscuits.
I am usually not a big fan of grains in dog foods/treats but Rocky absolutely loved them. He goes literally crazy for them and can't get enough.

Ancol Dog Lips Toy

This dog toy is shaped like lips and comes in a bright pink colour. It has a squeaker inside for the extra bit of fun.

Review: I think this is a fun dog toy and it looks hilarious if the dog holds the toy by the back side so it looks like the dog has huge lips.
Rocky loved it and he really enjoyed playing with it, especially because of the squeaker inside.

Pik'N'Mix Fizzy Fetch Liquorice Launch Toy

This toy includes a black rope part and a soft yellow part. It is perfect for retrieving.

Review: Rocky really liked playing with this toy and I constantly had to throw it for him. He liked biting on either side (soft or rope part) and had a lot of fun with it.

Ancol Treat Bone

This Bone can be filled with kibble or treats so that the dog has to move it around in order for the food/treats to fall out.

Review: Rocky has already a Treat Ball so he knew straight away what he has to do in order to get the treats out.
I think the Treat Bone is great! It's a lot more difficult than Rocky's treat ball so it took him a lot longer to get all the treats out. I absolutely love it especially as it keeps Rocky busy.

Overall Review

I think the Fings For Fido box is great fun! It's very exciting to receive a package and not having any idea what's going to be inside (despite knowing it's dog products).
I also like that you can choose between a one-off, a monthly subscription or sending it off as a gift to a friend.
Fings For Fido are helping "Hounds for Heroes" by giving them 10% of the profit of each box, which I think is brillinat.
The products we have received were also fantastic. Rocky had a lot of fun with the toys and loved the treats, and there was even something for me; the dog magazine.
Delivery was very quick which is a great service and as the Fings For Fido boxes are send off using a courier and tracking, you are able to check out where your package is and when to expect it.
I think the box is well worth it considering all the products, the excitement and fun you are having with such a box. Rocky definitely loved getting all those goodies.
