Meet Bongo, the beloved lurcher and the inspiration behind The Innocent Hound business. He is far from innocent, but its his naughtiness that makes him the loveable, forgivable character that he is today.
They found Bongo at a rescue home shortly after they were married. Bongo was closely followed by their two children, when life quickly became busier and Bongo gradually saw his tasty home-cooked treats being replaced with home-cooked batches of play-dough and fairy cakes. This is when the idea behind The Innocent Hound was born.
Just like they do their kids, they want to show their love for their pets and spoil them with treats but in a way that is responsible, healthy and delicious. They care about the food they buy for themselves and firmly believe that their values should be mirrored in what they buy for their pets too.
They want locally sourced, sustainable, high quality meat where animal welfare is a priority; healthy, flavoursome ingredients; but equally importantly in today’s busy world they need convenience.
They wanted simple luxury, they bring you The Innocent Hound."

Review: Rocky absolutely loves The Innocent Hound venison sausages with chopped apple! I think they are great treats for inbetween meals and Rocky definitely agrees. I tend to cut the sausages up into small pieces and put them back into the resealable plastic tub. Absolutely great!

Review: Rocky also really loved The Innocent Hound venison chipolatas with chopped apple. I prefer the smaller size as Rocky can even have a whole one straight away without being cut up. And he really does anything to get one. Huge success!
