"Since 2005, Anke Haller operates the small manufactory www.Felldummy.de.
As the Otterhound of Anke Haller liked to go hunting she visited a seminar about anti-hunting. Hereby, she was inspired to produce her first Dummys in order to provide her dog a good controlled drive to her drive. It was difficult to get Fur Dummys or not possible at all, only the 500g Dummys from the retrieval range but no small Dummys which can be easily carried in the jeans- or vest pocket in summer.
Thus, Anke Haller took up the sewing machine and tried differnt variations.
After several unsuccessful attempts the Fur Dummy was developed which is yet still existing in that exact form. In order to have a diversity in the training she got hold of variouos fur types.
As she was meeting other dog owners on her walks who were interested in her Fur Dummys she established www.FurDummy.de and since created Fur Dummys in different sizes and fur types.
But not enough, she also wanted toys for dogs which like to tug and which should preferably be floatable toys as well. Inspired by other toys the Critter was created.
Faux fur fabrics were bought and marked, cut to size and sewn in her small workshop. The head is a floatable ball which is dented and tied down so that it can't slip out of the fur head while playing. Playing with the Critter is super fun for dogs!
As her Otterounds are Running Hounds and Scent Hounds you inevitably come across mantrailing. In search of suitable instructors she was lucky to find a competent group in the area of Dortmund. Of course she also visited several seminars of well-known US-Instructors. She continually noticed that the sturdy oiled Leather Leads are only available in a small variety of standard lengths. Thus, she expanded her range and she crafts oiled Leather Leads in thickness and lengths according to the customer's wishes. Trainings aids such as safety vests, chalk spray and flags are also available in her trail range."

Description of the Oiled Leather Lead 8mm wide, 3-way adjustable: "Oiled Leather Leads crafted out of one piece, ca 4mm thick, made out of Oiled Leather with bolt hooks, 3-way adjustable, 3m long, 8mm wide and in colour dark brown.
This handmade in Germany, high quality Oiled Leather Lead made out of smooth Oiled Leather lies well in the hand. Due to the process and the strong deebly oiling the Lead is almost waterproof. Equipped with high quality corrosion resistand bolt hooks this sturdy dog lead will keep you happy for a long time.

Review: I am very satisfied with the Oiled Leather Lead by Felldummy. It does not only look very chic due to the high quality leather but it also is very hardy. The Lead made out of Oiled Leather is really great; it is very soft, nice to hold in the hand and it is very easy to clean. Even though I usually don't really like gold coloured (Brass) metal fittings I thing they still look good on the Oiled Leather Lead. The Brass colour simply suits the Oiled Leather and additionally the metal fittings are very sturdy. Overall, the Oiled Leather Lead by Felldummy is of very high quality. The width of 8mm is totally adequate for Rocky and also the length of 3 meters is great. As it is adjustable in 3 ways I can freely choose which length I prefer at any given moment. No matter if in training or at the daily walk, the Felldummy Oiled Leather Lead is usable everywhere.
